Obodroid shows security robot at Techsauce Global Summit 2019
Dr Mahisorn Wongphati, Chief Technology Officer of Obodroid Corporation Limited, a joint-venture company with Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited (MQDC), helped demonstrate the first security robot developed by a Thai company for the real estate industry at Techsauce Global Summit.
Techsauce Global Summit 2019 is a leading tech and innovation conference held at Centara Grand at Central World. Obodroid shared a booth at the event with ExpresSo. ExpresSo is sponsored by PTT ExpresSo, the startup unit of PTT Public Company Limited and a joint-venture partner in HG Robotics Company Limited, one of the shareholders in Obodroid.
Obodroid’s robot performed a demonstration security patrol at the event, displaying the results on a monitor for participants. The robot is currently used in the MQDC project Whizdom Avenue Ratchada-Ladprao, which also plans to feature automatic parking and robot butlers.
